**HISTORIC HOMEOWNER GRANT PROGRAM**
The Historic Preservation Office (HPO) is accepting applications for the Historic Homeowner grant program. To be considered for construction in FY17, Part I applications must be received by July 5 this year. According to HPO, Part I applications are simple and can be completed in less than 30 minutes.
The Historic Homeowner grant program awards grants up to $25,000 to homeowners in Capitol Hill, and other select historic districts, for the preservation of their historic residence. Grants are for low and moderate income households. Parts of Single Member Districts 6C01, 6C02, 6C03 and 6C04 include historic districts with eligible homeowners.
